1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Stack Market ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Beta Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

This beta test is brought to you by Friction Inc, a new startup agency and incubator who creates, tests, and launches new ideas ("we," "us," "our").

2. Beta Service - What This Means

Current Status:

- Stack Market is in beta development
- The platform is NOT fully operational
- You can register a username, browse examples, and explore demonstrations
- Limited point earning is available through our referral program
- Reward redemption is NOT yet available to the general public

What You're Getting:

- Reserved username for when we fully launch
- Early access to product demonstrations
- Ability to explore how the platform will work
- Point earning through referrals (100 points per invited user who joins)
- Priority notification when we go live

What You're NOT Getting (Yet):

- Active point earning from collaboration tools
- Reward redemptions (coming soon)
- Full integration functionality
- Complete feature set

No Guarantees:

- We may change features, pricing, or functionality before full launch
- Reserved usernames may be subject to change
- Point values and earning rates may change
- Everything you see is subject to change

3. Eligibility

You must be:
- At least 18 years old
- Capable of forming a binding contract
- Not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law

By creating a username, you claim that you are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract.

4. Account Registration

Username Reservation:

- You can register a username during beta
- Username reservation is free
- Usernames are first-come, first-served
- We may reclaim usernames that violate policies
- Rules may change before full launch

Your Responsibilities:

- Provide accurate information
- Maintain password security
- Notify us of unauthorized access
- You're responsible for account activity

We Reserve the Right to:

- Refuse registration
- Suspend or terminate accounts
- Require additional verification
- Change username rules

5. Beta Participation

Your Role:

- You're helping us test and improve the platform
- You understand features may not work perfectly
- The platform may have bugs or errors

What We May Do:

- Change features without notice
- Reset accounts or data
- Take the platform offline
- Discontinue the beta

Feedback:

- Feedback becomes our property
- We may use feedback without compensation
- We are not required to implement suggestions

6. Referral Program & Points

Current Point Earning:

- 100 points per referred user who joins
- Points tracked in your account
- Values may change

Important Limitations:

- No earning from collaboration tools
- No reward redemption
- Demonstrations are illustrative only

Referral Rules:

- Referrals must be genuine
- No spam
- Referred users must be valid
- Fraud may result in revoked points

When We Fully Launch:

- You'll be notified
- Updated Terms must be accepted
- Earned referral points will be honored unless fraudulent

7. Intellectual Property

Our IP:

- Stack Market name, logo, design, technology are ours
- Limited license granted for evaluation
- No copying, modifying, or reverse engineering

Your Content:

- You retain ownership
- You grant us a license to use your content for improving or marketing the Service
- We may use aggregated, anonymized data

8. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:
- Break laws
- Infringe IP
- Hack or disrupt the Service
- Conduct referral fraud
- Harass others
- Create multiple accounts to abuse referrals
- Scrape or extract data
- Use bots
- Misrepresent the platform
- Spam referrals

9. No Fees (Beta)

Current Pricing: Free access, free username reservation, free referral participation.

Future Pricing: Will be announced before launch. Early users may receive offers.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important. See our Privacy Policy.

Beta Data:
- Limited information collected
- Data may be deleted or reset
- Do not share sensitive information

11. Account Termination

We May Suspend or Terminate:
- Violations
- Abuse or fraud
- At our discretion
- If beta is discontinued

You May Terminate:
- Close your account anytime

Effect of Termination:
- Username released
- Points forfeited
- Beta access revoked
- Some data may be retained as required by law

12. Disclaimers

BETA SERVICE - USE AT YOUR OWN RISK:
- Service is "AS IS"
- Features may break
- No guarantees on stability, username retention, or future value

No Warranties:
- No express or implied warranties
- No guarantee of launch or future functionality

13. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for data loss, feature changes, point changes, or damages.

Maximum liability is $100.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us for claims arising from:
- Your Service use
- Your violations
- Your illegal activity
- Your referral actions

15. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: NY

Informal Resolution: Contact support@stackmarket.co first.

Arbitration:
- Binding arbitration via AAA
- Held in NY, NY
- No jury trial
- No class actions

Opt-Out: Email within 30 days of acceptance.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update Terms during beta. You'll be notified via email or site notice.

Continuing to use the Service means acceptance.

17. General Provisions

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement.

If any part is invalid, the rest stands.

No waiver, no assignment without consent, force majeure applies.
